As a Psychiatry Specialty Manager, you will make sales calls on psychiatry specialists to promote Wyeth products. You will coordinate and establish appropriate selling practices within a defined territory, which will result in increased prescriptions. You will communicate with the sales and marketing management team, and will be responsible for increasing market share growth of Wyeth products. You will effectively communicate sales and marketing messages to psychiatrists, and will coordinate programs with the District Managers and Territory Representatives for all sales groups promoting the products.

This position requires a Bachelors degree, beyond a Bachelors degree (a specialty degree Nursing, RPh., etc.) would be helpful. Must be able to document a proven, successful, 5 year track record in pharmaceutical sales (or other medically related field), and possess selling experience calling of a medical specialty (e.g. Psychiatry, cardiology, oncology, or other therapeutic group). The preferred candidate should be able to document success in selling product(s) belonging to the class of drugs know as antidepressants, or other central nervous system therapeutic categories. The ability to learn and utilize pharmaceutical healthcare data and information, enabling the candidate to be conversant with healthcare professionals treating depression (and/or other illnesses) is required.
