Job Responsibilities:
  • Representing the service(s) in the marketplace to perfect communications for market share dominance
  • Shepherding services through the market readiness and alignment process to bring new solutions to market through the industry groups
  • Collecting market requirements through sales, business development, analysts, competitors, press and peer communities to augment continual client and market contacts
  • Developing and implementing a company-wide market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Creating messaging framework for services
  • Developing uses cases for communications to address various methods, vendors and applications of the service in the market
  • Consulting to the pursuit process when the service or solution is engaged
  • Creating industry-analyst specific communications and presentations to achieve ranking goals
  • Specifying graphics to clarify and emphasize communications
  • Supporting the industry marketing teams to develop strategy, programs and vehicles to promote the services and generate business
  • Performing peer reviews to maintain consistency and competitiveness among services and solutions

    Required Skills:
  • 5-10 years experience in a portfolio management, product management or product marketing role in an IT company
  • Experience as sole contributor in a leveraged team
  • Experience in product/service lifecycle management
  • Experience in high-technology and comfort with technical concepts
  • Portfolio Managers are the bridge between the global delivery units and industry sales units in the company
  • The Portfolio Manager must be a premier communicator with exemplary writing skills and an innate ability to make very complex concepts and offerings simple and intuitive
  • The Portfolio Manager must understand macro-business economics and be able to build actionable business plans and prioritize and categorize in complex and highly matrixed environments
  • The Portfolio Manager provides a roadmap for the services based on market conditions and achieving specific revenue goals
  • Focusing on making the services financially successful, the Portfolio Manager needs to be constantly hunting market sources for information and data that will help improve the service and the communications that represent it
  • The Portfolio Manager must be able to interact on a peer level with global delivery leaders, sales and business development from around the globe and work to be seen as a valuable resource in the pursuit model and client relations team

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, International Business, Public Relations or related field

    Position Summary:

    Product Manager/Sr Product Manager, Global New Product Marketing

    This individual will be responsible to support short and long-term global marketing strategies, programs and tactics to ensure optimal commercialization potential for the oncology products in late development phase (phase II/III). The individual will report to the Sr Director Global, Marketing.
    This person will work closely with a multitude of functional groups, including but not limited to Development, Regulatory, Market Research, Commercial Operations, Legal, Global Medical Affairs, New Product Planning, the company's Japanese and European groups as well as business partners to ensure organizational alignment with the commercialization strategy of the brands including lifecycle activities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities include:
    . Oversee and execute marketing strategies, development of programs and tactics to attain strategic objectives associated optimization of commercial potential for pipeline products in late phase of development across multiple markets (US, EU, Japan and ROW).
    . Oversee, execute, design and functional focus of the role in global strategies, identification of key market issues (across all markets), critical success factors, brand positioning, messaging, competitive strategies, and global marketing tactics.
    . Be an active member of the cross-functional development, strategic and commercial teams, which defines and executes associated new product development activities to ensure commercial readiness, worldwide regulatory fillings and approvals, marketing global strategic alignment, global brand positioning, global pricing strategy, global strategic development
    . Effectively execute marketing activities necessary to successfully support market entry. Create and champion brand vision and direction to support the oncology global business for new products
    . Establish global key opinion leader advisory boards and working with professional societies to establish standards of care supporting new products.
    . Oversee execution of global market research, align on market research plans with partners and affiliates, and translate competitive intelligence into product strategies and forecasting assumptions.
    . Execute global brand tactics in the areas of promotional campaigns and material, congresses, pricing and reimbursement
    . Evaluate brand performance against budget ensuring a cost effective allocation of resources.
    . Manage promotional budgets, and develop metrics to measure ROIs .
    . Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners, business partners, Takeda affiliates, global thought leaders, customers and professional organizations.
    . Work successfully with all vendors/agencies

    Basic Qualifications:

    . BA/BS degree in buinsess, marketing or science required. 7+ years of pharmaceutical and/or healthcare experience with a minimum of 3 years in international pre-launch and launch marketing, new product commercialization, business development, or a combination of the above, however international product commercialization experience of 2+ years is required
    . Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative, creativity and optimal way to position products for a variety of markets. The ideal candidate would have experience in global market strategy for multiple oncology products.

    Position Summary:

    The Product Manager (PM)/Senior Product Manager (SPM) will be accountable for playing an integral role in supporting short-and long-term marketing programs and tactics associated with VELCADE (bortezomib) for Injection in the US.

    The PM/SPM will collaborate with the sales organization, marketing management, and various other cross-functional counterparts, including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Market Research, Commercial Operations, Legal, and Global Medical Affairs to drive the development and execution of multi-channel programs to maximize market opportunities for VELCADE in the U.S.

    The individual will report to the Director of VELCADE Multiple Myeloma marketing.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Design and execute marketing programs and tactics to attain strategic objectives associated with VELCADE with specific focus on initiatives related to FDA approved indication for VELCADE in multiple myeloma.

    Develop and oversee promotional tools, tactical programs, and communications targeting multiple audiences, including the sales force and healthcare professionals.

    Manage agencies/vendors in the development and implementation of promotional materials and tactical programs across all key customer segments.

    Serve as a member of the cross-functional brand team, including successful collaboration with Global Medical Affairs, Advocacy/Philanthropy, Legal, Regulatory, and Sales as appropriate.

    Coordinate planning and content development for POA and national sales meetings for the OSS team for all FDA approved indications in conjunction with marketing team members and cross-functional teams (Commercial Operations, Global Medical Affairs, Training, Sales).

    Lead development and execution of promotional speaker bureau program.

    Coordinate commercial planning and content development for medical congresses.
    Manage promotional budgets and develop metrics to measure ROIs.

    Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners, sales force, thought leaders, customers, and professional organizations.

    Demonstrate company values on a consistent basis. Acts in compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies.

    Travel required, mainly domestic, at least 30% of the time

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in business, finance, life sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience required

    Successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing and/or sales with 2-3+ years relevant experience with increasing job responsibilities.

    Candidates must possess the ability to proactively analyze business problems, identify key issues, develop solutions, implement tactical programs, and design metrics to measure business impact.

    Prior experience managing marketing/advertising/promotion budgets.

    Evidence of good analytical skills, project planning and organizational skills required.

    Experience working with cross-functional groups comprised of one or more of the following: Marketing, Sales, Global Medical Affairs, Market Research or Finance.

    Individual must possess the ability to effectively communicate, influence and build consensus in a matrix environment with multiple cross-functional groups supporting the brand team.

    Excellent communications and vendor/agency management skills.


    Additional Qualifications:



    Experience working in Oncology therapeutic area, hospital-based marketing, market research or sales experience strongly preferred. MBA or other advanced degree and/or scientific degree a plus.
